Women in Civil Mentoring Program The Women in Civil Mentoring Program is a professionally designed and delivered development program for women Mentees in the Western Australian civil infrastructure industry who seek support, guidance and professional growth.
Mentees are paired with a highly experienced Mentor who is willing to commit time and energy to help the Mentee with their professional development. ![]() CCF WA works with leadership development organisation Modal to deliver the program, which is facilitated by Rechelle Hawkes AM, former Hockeyroos Captain and three-time Olympic gold medalist. This program assists Mentees develop skills in areas including goal setting, understanding personality styles, network building, how to identify and confront challenges, and industry understanding and confidence. Over the past few years we’ve been been hearing how the Mentoring Programs have literally been changing lives. Only a few weeks ago at our last breakfast, one of the mentees from the program told us that such were the personal skills and confidence she gained from the mentoring program, she viewed it as a turning point in her career. For the 2024 Mentoring Program, we have secured funding from the Transport Portfolio – so this year’s program will have a transport focus. We’ll be seeking to help develop of the careers of young professional female mentees; engineers, estimators, contract administrators, communications professionals, HSEQ specialists, etc. 2024 Mentee Applications are now open!Download and fill out the application form below and send it through to us by email by August 1, 2024.
