CIVIL CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICESHIPS |
Civil Construction Apprenticeships now available in Western Australia!Nine civil construction traineeships have now transitioned to apprenticeships and are formally recognised with a trade certificate under a four-year Civil Construction Pilot Program (CCPP). Nominal training terms have been extended from 24 months to 36 months. The four-year pilot program will enable two full-year cohorts to complete the three-year apprenticeship under the program. The transition to apprenticeships will increase the quality of training in civil construction and create stronger career pathways into the industry. It's estimated there will be 1280 new commencements in the new qualifications over the four-year period. CCF WA together with other government and industry representatives is participating in the working group that is overseeing and evaluating the CCPP.
