Yes, anyone can be nominated as long as they are eligible, and all selection criteria are addressed. Are all nominees automatically in the running to win?
Yes, as long as all eligibility criteria are met in the
submission — but we will let you know if there are any issues that you may be
able to resolve. Please read the entire nomination form carefully, follow the

are happy to assist if needed, and you can contact us by email here.
Do nominees have to attend the gala dinner event?
Attendance is not mandatory but we do ask that all nominees be present for the awards ceremony as winners are expected to accept their awards on-stage (or arrange for someone to accept on their behalf). Speeches are optional but encouraged! Remember to book a ticket for each nominee.
Is there a Women in Civil Award?
We expanded the Women in Civil category into its own Awards program in 2025! Following its success, the second annual Women in Civil Awards will be celebrated at the 2026 Women in Civil Lunch. Keep an eye out for more information to come. If you have anyone in mind for a Women in Civil Award nomination, we strongly encourage you to nominate them for an Industry & Training Award.
